Merlefest 2003
Posted by Larry Karnowski at November 5, 2002 10:29 PMIn case you didn't already know, general ticket sales for Merlefest 2003 are going on sale November 12th. If you don't know what Merlefest is, and you have any taste in music similar to my own, click that link right now! I went to Merlefest, the largest (and best!) Americana festival in the world, for the first time this last April and had a wonderful time! I've already renewed my tickets from last time, but I am planning on upgrading them and possibly getting some more.
If you're interested (and I know you), please let me know that you want tickets too, and we'll see if we can't get them together. If I don't know you, please say hello anyway, and I hope to see you there! I'm planning on staying for the whole festival, Thursday through Sunday, April 24th-27th.
And if you're one of my many friends who want to go, but "can't possibly plan that far in advance" (bunch of frickin' lightweights), don't worry, I'll probably have room in my cabin to let you crash. I'm planning on y'all waiting until next Spring to buy your tickets, anyway. ;-)
This has nothing to do with anything you said... but let me just say BLAH! If I can make it thru the next 3 weeks... C'mon Larry-- help me out! Cheer me up! :) S.

I love the idea of old Dr. Trahern sitting in the sun, listening to bluegrass, and grading the blue-millionth paper he's read about they symbolism of the color green in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
