Pine Hill Pics

I want to write a much longer story about the Pine Hill Farm finale that I went to Saturday night, but I don't have time right now. Let me summarize it like this -- I was in the front row about three feet away from Tift Merritt, Thad Cockrell, Chip Robinson, Chris Smith, and one of my new favorites, Kenny Roby. It quickly went into the top five concerts I've ever seen.... ever....

Here's some pictures I was glad I had the presence of mind to take.

Amendment: Oops, when I said "Friday night" before, well, I meant "Saturday night." I fixed it. -- larry 11:06pm

Amendment II: A couple of people wrote to let me know that the ??? guy with Thad Cockrell and Tim Easton is actually Peter Blackstock, editor of my favorite magazine, No Depression. Sorry Peter and thanks to everyone who wrote in! -- larry 12/17/02 10am

Did you see zeitgolf's post to Guitartown? He's the other guy on the couch, whom you have labeled as ??? in one of the pics.

The funny part is that I don't know his name, so the best you could do is replace ??? with zeitgolf.

Although from the pic, he looks suspiciously like Donal Logue...

Nope, come to find out it's Peter Blackstock, the editor of No Depression magazine. (oops! oh well...) He moved out here from Seattle a couple years ago, it seems.
