Guess I Know I'm Right

Listening to all these V-Roys songs is really tempting me to put away my fiddle and take up my electric guitar again. Heh, right. My poor fiddle hasn't seen much play lately from all this work... oh well! I've got a fiddle lesson tonight though, so hopefully that will jumpstart me!

Seriously though, if you can get them, I really suggest picking up the V-Roys three albums, Just Add Ice, All About Town, and their live album, Are You Through Yet?. Good luck finding them though. I haven't looked around town here in NC, but in TN the Disc Exchange in Knoxville had a stash. The Disc Exchange on Kingston Pike had quite a few of the All About Town and a few Are You Through Yet?, but I got the last copy of their first album, Just Add Ice from the Chapman Highway Disc Exchange, so sorry. (Had to order it long distance!)

If you didn't know, here's three things you need to know about the V-Roys: 1) They were based in Knoxville. 2) Their main singer/songwriter was Scott Miller, who's fantastic. (Thanks again Amy for making me listen to him!) And 3), they were on Steve Earle's (who's also from Knoxville I'm pretty sure) record label e-squared. Good stuff!
