The Occupants World Debut

So last night was the first ever gig by a band, The Occupants, in which my buddy and partner in crime Evil Jason plays lead guitar. They were a lot of fun! I can't wait to see them again and again!! ("they were better than Cats...") No twang, but lots of indy space rock, what Jason calls shoegazing, but with plenty of rockin' parts in between.

The band they opened for, Stopping On Green, was also a great bar band. They played lots of good originals, some great covers (including a Ryan Adams bootleg so obscure that I didn't even know it! How cool is that?), and had lots of personality on stage -- hilarious.

I can't wait to see both these bands again. Last night was one of the most fun shows I've seen in a long, long while!
