I'm Down For the Sweet Ride

I love Tanya Donelly's greatest hits album, Sweet Ride. Actually, its Belly's greatest hits, but Belly was definitely her band -- her songwriting, her music. It's a unique greatest hits album -- like they somehow successfully managed to blend a greatest hits and a b-sides/rarities disc together -- it's awesome! The live version of Dusted is my favorite.

This isn't a new album or anything. It's just made its way back into my truck CD player and iTunes MP3 player for some reason...

Oops! Almost forgot! She does a sexy cover of Hot Burrito #1, one of my favorite Gram Parsons songs, and that definitely ties her back to Hickory Wind in a most wonderful way! God bless you Tanya! (She's so yummy! Nevermind that she's got a kid, she's still yummy! Right, Evil Jason?)
