HazMat and First Responder
Posted by Larry Karnowski at July 24, 2003 10:31 PMGood Lord I just started the most mind-numbing fire service class -- Hazardous Materials. YAWN. I had three hours tonight. I'll have eight hours on Saturday and another eight on Sunday. Then I skip a week and do it all over again. *sigh*
I keep telling myself, "This is my last required course to get off of probation... after this, I'll get my black hat and get to do real stuff." I just have to keep tellng myself this.
Thank God (or too bad) the Wake County Office Park doesn't have a wireless connection. I'd flunk the class for sure.
On the other hand though -- some good news. I found out today that I passed my Wake County First Responder-D certification last week. So if you live in Wake County, watch out -- I can respond to you first now. (The "D" means defibrillation, so I can shock you too!)
I always said you were shocking....
