Oh, The Weather Outside...

Yep, it's snowing. It's been snowing. And now it's sleeting. It's supposed to be an "ice event" tonight. Here's hoping we don't get one like we did last winter. Ewww.

This is the first winter in the House of Bastardville too, so I hope it holds up -- that is, I hope we don't lose power. I was lucky enough during the last few "ice events" never to lose power, but that was when I was in Cary, where all the richies live (not me!) and everything was brand-spanking new. Now up here in north Raleigh, I hope it works out okay.

I think tonight is going to be a night of enjoying the power and Internet-cable connection while I've still got it, and probably some hot chocolate with marshmallows and Jack. God bless you, Jack Daniels.

Man, I wish it was snowing here. Some people get all the luck! You stay dry and warm and don't try to drive if you don't have to! especially after having the hot chocolate and jack! does that sound like motherly advice or what? and sorry the beards giving you a "hard" time! lub u :0)

Yeah, I could stand to be snowed or iced in for a few days... I would pack, pack, pack, pack, pack!

Mom K-- for your children's sakes-- do not keep every piece of paper anyone ever handed you... Purge unimportant things regularly! (This is my public service announcement)-- it will save your children's sanity in the long run... :)
