But I Don't Want To Go On The Cart

Posted by Larry Karnowski at April 7, 2004 9:13 AM

I'm not dead yet! I'm sorry I haven't posted regularly or emailed anyone in about two weeks -- I've been crazy busy at work. Things should be slowing back down now soon -- hopefully. This weekend is all about catching up on correspondence, finishing some blog entries that I started and never posted, and finally doing my taxes. (Federal taxes take about five minutes -- NC taxes... try five days.) Oh, and seeing Tommy Peoples play some Donegal-style fiddle at a house concert this weekend! Oh hell yeah!

When are you coming back to TN for a visit? Remember, I only live about 3 minutes from your mom and dad now...

Saundra he will be coming home on May 14 for his 10 year reunion. Then on to Virginia on May 15 for Cassidy's graduation. Make him move back here!!!

Larry, how would Seth go about guest-blogging on Ben's? Also, I have some pictures from Seth's basic graduation and Kip suggested posting them to either your's or Ben's blog for everyone. How would we do that?

OK, Mom. I've warned you once.

Nip it. Nip it in the bud.

Becki, I replied to your comment via email. We'll talk later.

Saundra, the next time I'm out that way I'm definitely going to stop by! I'm really looking forward to seeing your new place! And I'm missing you too!

And Mom, how is Saundra going to "make me move" back out there? What's that about? I can only thing of one way -- "Sugar Momma." Or maybe "house husband." Ah, to begin my well-earned life of leisure.

Trust me, if she is going to be a teacher she will be no ones "sugar mama" bless her heart. and you have a long way to go to start your life of leisure!! I just thought she could help me work on you and make you remember how great it is here. It must be, everybody and there brother is moving here. And Shane O. we'll talk about this at merlefest!! I'm coming this year. And I'm sick of only getting to see my baby boy 2 or 3 times a year!!!

Well damn... I was hoping Larry would move here and be my sugar-daddy... that or a live-in computer repairman... (sigh) A girl can dream, I guess... :)

If I had a nickel for everytime I've been asked to be a sugar daddy... I might just could afford to be one.

I went to see Bela Fleck and the Flecktones at Sundown in the City in Market Square last night. I thought you'd be proud of me. Sundown is every Thursday night through the summer. You should come in one week when you can take the next day off. It's a blast!

Hold up, here, Mom. I'm your 'baby boy.' Dammit.

Posted by: tony at April 9, 2004 12:38 PM

Yes Tony, you are my baby boy, but you are both my baby boys!! You are my baby, baby boy!!
