Employed! (whew)
Posted by Larry Karnowski at July 16, 2004 10:16 AMWell, it's official! I accepted an offer yesterday from PowerByHand (used to be PinPoint), the same folks who hired Ben. I start on Monday.
That makes my unemployment run, my first ever, just shy of two months. Oculan fell down dead on May 20th, and then I'll be starting at PBH on July 19th. Not a bad run. It could've been a lot worse, that's for sure.
I think I'm really going to like this new company. It has a very Oculan-esque vibe about it, pretty geeky and cool! And I'll be damn glad to have a steady paycheck again, that's for sure! ;-)
And to get back on topic -- to celebrate I went and bought tickets for the Sweet Harmony Traveling Revue, the concert tour with Emmylou, Gillian, Buddy Miller, and Patty Griffin. I've got lawn tickets, so anyone who wants to meet up early, tailgate, and then get good seats on the lawn, just let me know! (God, it feels good to be going to shows again!)
