Freaking awesome song. Old school alt country. Circa 1996. I remember hearing it first on NPR, and I stopped immediately and bought the album. I went to dinner later that night with some friends, and they were all "did you hear that song on NPR?" "Umm, yep. I bought the album."

But it didn't last. I didn't really like the album as much back then as I would now, and I eventually lost or sold the CD. Not really sure. There was a point, um, about three years ago, when several of my CDs just, ah, "walked off." Hmmm.....

Anyway. Great song! Very October-y and Halloween-y. Great for driving late at night, especially during a thunderstorm. I'm speaking from experience here.
