Ralph Stanley Heart Surgery, Vassar Clements Lung Cancer

I haven't heard any news about Vassar Clements lately. I hope he's doing alright, but the tone of his website sounds dire. If you didn't know, the fiddle virtuoso was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in March. He was sorely missed at Merlefest 2005 and other cancelled appearances. Hang in there, Vassar! We love you!
