Podcasts on iTunes

Posted by Larry Karnowski at June 29, 2005 7:30 AM

Okay, Podcasts have finally arrived. iTunes support them natively now. I've been listening to their new music Tuesday cast featuring the White Stripes and the Greencards plus a lot of crap. I also recommend Candice Corrigan's The Nashville Nobody Knows, a thirty-minute exploration of the lesser known Country/Americana stuff. This week is an interview with a sound engineer known for working with the "classical" sound of Country -- including Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer, and Mark O'Conner's Appalachian Waltz. Interesting...

I wonder how long this Podcast fad will last? I think video-cast won't be too far out.

(Oh my God! Check out the Ryan Adams Podcast in the Audio Blogs section on iTunes.... hilarious! Holy God... it just gets funnier and funnier. I have no idea if it's legit.... but it sure sounds like him.)
