I've been reading Amanda's blog for a good while now, and I'm a big big fan of her sense of humor and her taste in music! I can't wait to see what she'll bring to our mix!
And yes, that's Sydney Australia! My, aren't we so international! I've been enjoying the news of the Americana scene from Down Under for a while, and now she'll be bringing it to your front doorstep each week here at HickoryWind.org! (Damn! I promised myself I wasn' t going to use that "down under" cliche. Curses, foiled again!)
And just so you Americans know -- if she writes "honour" or "colour," don't worry -- she can do that. Stacy, Sean, and I, however, cannot. Them's the breaks. But then I can use the phrase "them's the breaks." I'm not sure Amanda can get away with that... hmmm. We'll see!
