What's that deee-licious smell coming from the kitchen? Why, it's another batch of treats fresh from the New West oven! That's right, kids, it's another batch of CDs and DVDs from "Austin City Limits." Let's see, we've got Dwight Yoakum (ooooh, yummy!), John Hiatt, Eric Johnson and the Texas Tornados. Get 'em while they're hot!

All the (good) new releases for Tuesday, Nov. (good lord, is it November already????) 1, 2005:
Dwight Yoakum -- Live from Austin, TX (New West)
Eric Johnson -- Live from Austin, TX (New West)
John Hiatt -- Live from Austin, TX (New West)
Texas Tornados -- Live from Austin, TX (New West)
Bobby Bare -- The Moon Was Blue (Dualtone)
The Peasall Sisters -- Home to You (Dualtone)
Trey Anastasio -- Shine (Sony)
Nirvana -- Sliver: Best of the Box (Geffen)
Um, OK, so this is a compilation of highlights from the "With the Lights Out" box set. So you have individual albums, then a box set, then a CD of highlights of the box set. Not sure whether to blame Courtney Love or Dave Grohl here, but someone needs to give it a rest already. If you need money, go get a job. Plain 'n' simple.
Sun Kil Moon -- Tiny Cities (Caldo Verde)
The Tragically Hip -- Hipeponymous (Universal Music Canada)
I'm a little unsure whether this is coming out Nov. 1 or Nov. 8 -- my sources conflict. But whichever is correct, that's one kick-ass name for a really extensive box set. It contains music AND videos, which is kind of nifty. Oh, technology. Soon you will be able to bring us box sets that include the way the band smells on the bus. Yeyyyyy.
