It's all Solas, Clandestine, and Black 47 for me! What're y'all listening to today?

Comments

There's an on-demand Solas concert on FolkAlley.com today - might want to tune in.

Plus, Flogging Molly is in town...

I'm listening to a collection of music similar to Nick Drake, Devendra Banhart, Joanna Newsom, and Animal Collective on Pandora.

Though, my friend has some Irish Drinking songs which I'm sure we'll be listening to on the way to eat corn beef and cabbage tonight.

Maura O'Connell, Eleanor McEvoy, Beth Orton and Loreena McKennitt so far this weekend. Much more to come!

Yay, corned beef and cabbage! I made some yesterday and it was dee-lish.

Today (Sunday), I attended a St. Patty's Day parade in Tokyo and then went to an English pub that was playing Irish songs, where I hung out with my Japanese friend, my New Zealander friend and some American friends and met some new people, one from India and another from Australia. But all of us were Irish for a day, dammit! And we all went nuts when the pub started playing U2. :) You take what you can get here in Tokyo, yessir.

Maybe I missed it, but has anyone said anything about that new Derek Trucks Band CD? If not, someone please tell me what you think because I absolutely love that thing!
