Merlefest 2006: Thursday Morning

Well, the festival hasn't officially started yet, which is good... because it's been raining it's ass off all last night. It's still drizzling here, and it's a bit cool. The cool is cool, the rain is not. Keepin' my fingers crossed. (And dangit... wouldn't you know I forgot to pack my long underwear? Here's hoping it warms up today...)

If you'll be here today, make sure to check out the festival openers -- the Avett Brothers! They're definitely my favorite band of the past year. After that, I'll be on stage with my Dad and our compatriots from Pete Wernick's Jam Camp. We've been having a great time here jamming all week. We'll be playing two short songs on the Cabin Stage, and a good time will be had, assuredly.
