BEAUTIFUL weather! Bright sunny & warm. Clear blue sky... tiny little clouds on the horizon.

The Dillards are fun -- lots of Mayberry stories, but I miss Mitch Jayne on mandolin..

Chatham County Line are lookin' slick in those suits, gettin' in good with this "hometown" North Carolina crowd. They're mentioning a new album that includes a new cut they're playing called "Rockpile." Anyone heard about that? I'll have to check it out... ah, nice! They'll have some in the Merlefest Mall! I still think WSM 650 is my favorite CCL song.

DAMN it's hard to make choices of what to see sometimes... I think Ilm actually going to have to bail on seeing the Avetts. I have to if I want to see the Chris Austin Songwriting finals. Every year I miss that I regret it... so I'm going to have to makr that hard choice. Shit.
