Sneaky Pete

Thought folks might be interested in an update on the condition of Sneaky Pete Kleinow:

"I want all the fans, musicians and media to know that my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about a year ago. It hit him so hard and fast that he is now living in a skilled nursing facility. He would enjoy receiving a card, photo or note from you." - Anita Kleinow (daughter)

Ah, I hate to hear this... but I hate even more that I don't know who Sneaky Pete Kleinow is. :-/ Can you fill us in?

Ahh... I do know him. It was sad before, and its sad now. Alzheimers is not funny. :-/

i'm so sorry to hear that, amanda. i absolutely love pete's pedal steel, he is probably my favourite steel guitarist ever.

thoughts go to both you and him. i will definitely be sending a card.
