Stacy, I'm glad you caught this, as I was going to add it when I saw your post. I sure will miss Miss Etta. I always enjoyed her at Merlefest.

Posted by: larry at September 25, 2006 9:27 AMMan, she was a national treasure. I'm sad I never got around to seeing her. Her knife-slide version of "John Henry" on the old Acoustic Music of the Appalachians field recording is my favorite version of that threadbare old tune.
