SXSW lineup announced

That list is almost too long to look at! Why don't they just post of list who isn't playing SXSW?

But yeah, hometown! AA Sound System is a good bet. They're folksy/rootsy with a bit of electronic bleepery thrown in for effect. Plus they're just really good guys.
I'm not as enthusiastic about the other Edmonton names. Cadence Weapon is a hip hop artist with a lot of local buzz, but frankly I can't get excited about him. Social Code was getting pushed by our local "classic rock" station, which speaks volumes. Shout Out Out Out Out is also a big hype band here - and nice guys, too - but they're too electronic/disco/gimmicky for me. ALL of the vocals are sung through a vocoder.
If I might recommend some other Canadian acts, Chad VanGaalen, Amy Millan and Ruth Minnikin are all worthwhile if you're going.
