Posted by Hal Bogerd at May 5, 2007 7:22 PMI saw "Spider-Man 3" this afternoon (under protest). Without giving away the plot, at one point Peter Parker is attracted to the darker side. Greasy hair hanging in his eyes, dressed in black.......watch Toby morph into Conor Oberst (with a little Napoleon Dynamite to take off the edge).
"Emo-Peter" is what I called him when he donned the black eyeliner. It was a pretty good movie but it had some VERY sketchy parts (Bad ass Peter strut ala "Staying Alive" and the blatant "Mask" dance rip-off in the jazz bar). Those 2 parts were downright cringe-worthy!
