Spoke With David Menconi About the Avett Bros
Posted by Larry Karnowski at June 7, 2007 10:45 AMI was lucky enough to speak with David Menconi yesterday, journalist for the News & Observer and contributing editor for No Depression. He's doing a piece for the N&O about the Avett Brothers, and he wanted a quote or two.
I don't know if he'll end up using it, as I was driving from Raleigh to Durham, was a bit star-struck talking to David, and am not the most eloquent speaker to begin with. I was a bit nervous. Oh well, it was nice finally talking with someone I've read so much from.
Anyway, thanks David! I was just glad to talk up the Avetts, one of my all-time favorite bands!
