New releases: June 19, 2007

Who can have the summertime blues at a time like this? The list of new releases next week kicks it both old-skool and new-skool, with the lively Hackensaw Boys holding down the old-skool (but not old-fashioned!) end of the spectrum, and The White Stripes making their own damn, um, skool there on the other end.

Faith-based songs from the longtime banjo/guitarist for Alison Krauss and Union Station. AKUS members past and present are featured heavily on this, Block's second solo CD.
