The Hogwarts Blues
Posted by Larry Karnowski at July 18, 2007 9:00 AMI wish I could give y'all a good album review or two. I wish I had something to tell you, but I don't. My iPod refuses to play anything but Harry Potter audiobooks. My gut tells me this will last a week or two more.
However, I know I'm not alone in this. Grant Alden, co-editor of No Depression, has recently come out as a Harry Potter fan too. I'll stand united with my twang brothers, middle-aged men (am I middle-aged?) who shamelessly (well mostly shameless) lift their voices aloft and cry, "Will Harry get it in the end?"

Caught the new flick last Sunday. I really liked it...highly recommended!

Posted by: Rage at July 18, 2007 12:26 PMMeh, I didn't dig the last movie all that much. Actually, I haven't been a big fan of the movies since the second one. The books are just too big, the characters too rich, and the detail too deep to really capture in a 2.5 hour movie.
Glad you liked it, though, Rage! Have you read the books?
