Those of you who know me, or who have been reading this site a long, long time, may know that Lyle Lovett is my One True Love. If Lyle Lovett ever asks me to marry him, my current husband understands that he's history. (Don't worry -- he has the same arrangement about Alyson Hannigan. And, lately, Rihanna. Yeah, whatevs.)

Sources (including IGN -- why is Lyle "geek news"? I'm choosing to ignore that question.) say Billy Williams will produce, and a deluxe version of the album to be released simultaneously (THANK YOU) will include a DVD with studio footage from the recording of some of the songs.

So ... Aug. 28. Mark your calendars, for it is the best day ever. Aside from my wedding date with Lyle, that is.
