Posted by Hal Bogerd at November 11, 2007 7:08 PMLong before WalMarts populated rural America, I remember when my sister bought a single by Joe Perkins from the twenty-five cent discount bin in some funky now bankrupt discount chain simply because the title sounded weird (and probably because it was twenty-five cents or less). For you mp3 kids, this was in the days of real black vinyl 45s! I was amazed, surprised and frightened when I googled it and found a clip from the Night Train TV Show out of Nashville with Joe singing, well, lip-syncing "Little Eeefin' Annie"! I couldn't believe how many of the lyrics I remembered. The power of music.
