Uncle Earl Video -- Bluegrass Kabuki Theatre
Posted by Larry Karnowski at November 19, 2007 10:50 AMUp on Stereogum is the second oddest music video I think I've ever seen -- Uncle Earl playing Old-Time music to dancing "martial artists" in a Chinese restaurant. It's definitely odd, but worth checking out, if just for the sheer silliness of it all, and to catch cameos from Casey Driessen (the chef) and John Paul Jones (the piano player). Weird.
P.S. This is also the first time I've seen the phrase "the bluegrass goth look." I hope that one sticks.
