Isn't the re-release of Whiskeytown's "Stranger's Almanac" out on Tuesday too, or do I have the date wrong?

So, the hubbub about Maxim's "educated guess" review of the new Black Crowes album. My initial reaction is, are people really getting their music reviews from Maxim?

Ha! Good one Brendan...they get Maxim "for the articles". :)

Yep, Larry -- Tuesday brings us the "Stranger's Almanac" reissue, too. Thanks for the catch!

Do I really need to but another copy of "Stranger's Almanac"? Why not issue a disc of rarities? In addition, many of the bonus tracks have already seen the light of day on a well circulated bootleg "Those Weren't The Days" AKA "Stranger's Almanac Promo" (or so I've been told).

Hal, I love ya, but it's a Whiskeytown album. I'm a slave to their twang, dammit.

Another interesting one that just came across our desk here was Star Anna's debut album, "Crooked Path." Sounds like it might be interesting.
