iPODs and funerals
Posted by Hal Bogerd at June 18, 2008 11:40 PMToday at Tim Russert's funeral, "the crowd entering the Kennedy Center heard music from Russert's iPod, including 'Free Bird.' " I'm not saying it is a good thing or a bad thing, but I never thought I'd see an iPOD mentioned in an obituary.
Gosh, that's kind of interesting. In theory, I think it'd be cool to have my iPod playing to the folks who might come to my funeral. But then again, I know full well that thing would betray me by finding my hidden NSync tracks and blasting those at full volume. Eeesh. I'm sure I could feel the sting of that embarrassment, even in death.
