Today, my dears, is the glorious day on which we learn who is slated to play at Merlefest 2009. We'll post the list here as soon as we have it, so check back!

(Or, if you're really impatient, best-radio-station-on-earth WNCW will premiere the roster exclusively at 8 p.m. Listen in via radio or online here.)

Here's hoping the 2009 line-up is better than 2008s!

Hmm, sounds a bit like last year's line-up... but the Steel Drivers and Beausoleil sound good. Thanks for posting it Uncle Yeti!

To be honest.. the wife and I'll probably just roll out there for a Saturday-only day trip. First time I'll give up my reserved seats in... seven years? I think it's time for a little Merlefest break.

Thanks for the sneak-peek, Uncle Yeti! The Merlefest site should have the full list tomorrow (as will we) for those of us (including me) who spaced and forgot about the WNCW broadcast. Doh!
