Dear Music Maven;
Below is a list of six albums that I feel were very good and failed to gain much or any recognition. Why? I enjoyed them and think they are worth a listen or several. If you have time to listen to them or at least sample them, tell me why I’m wrong or why they were overlooked. Maybe I’m nuts of have no taste, but I doubt it. I’m sure there are more, these are just the ones I’m aware of.
Folk/Americana/Singer Song Writers missing from most “best albums of 2008 lists:
Ray Bonneville-Goin' By Feel
Matt D.- Gasoline Rattle
Danny Schmidt- Little Grey Sheep
Dale Boyle- Small Town Van Gogh
Low Anthem-Oh My God Charlie Darwin
Tony Penn-The Quicken
I don’t know how things work in the industry, but why are so many deserving musicians below the radar in this regard?
Any feedback you would provide would be enlightening.

PS It's not that I disagree wit your choices. Some of them are on my list as well. I just wonder about the above.
