Bonnaroo lineup announced

If it's cold where you are now, and you can't seem to get the chill out of your bones, here's a warm thought: Bonnaroo.

No, really. What's warmer than this: It's June, in the flat, hot part of Tennessee. And you'll be there, packed in tight, with about 80,000 fellow music fans. Don't smell the image (ew), feel it. See? Aren't you much warmer now? And craving a burrito?

The lineup, or at least a significant portion of it, for this year's fest has been announced, and it warms the heart as well. Bruce Springsteen is a headliner (along with Phish and Beastie Boys), and other dignitaries set to perform include Wilco, Lucinda Williams, Tift Merritt, Bon Iver, Elvis Costello, Jenny Lewis, The Decemberists, the Del McCoury Band, Neko Case, Robert Earl Keen, Alejandro Escovedo and Todd Snider.

I'll be chained to my desk that glorious weekend, because The Man doesn't give me enough days off to go to more than one festival a year (and I choose Merlefest) AND he makes me work weekends. But I hope some of you get to go, and I hope you'll tell us all about it.

Just leave out the parts that involve smell, please.
