I'm going to be a daddy!

I'm finally able to share something with y'all -- Heather is pregnant, and I'm going to be a daddy! We're due in August, and I can't wait! It's been so difficult keeping this from everyone, but we wanted to wait until the beginning of the second trimester.

I'm so freaking stoked! I just walk around with this big goofy grin on my face most of the time. People probably think I'm a little off. (Well, they probably already think that, if they're smart.) Maybe other Dad's can tell that "happy-to-be-a-Dad-soon" face and are quietly supportive of it? (Hmm, doubtful. That would imply that men have some sort of innate empathy, and that just seems pretty unlikely. Innate bumbling is more our style.)

Some c'mon August! I can hardly wait!
