The Adams EP (Poisson D’Avril Records)
Posted by Hal Bogerd at April 1, 2009 12:04 AMAfter appearing at the 2009 Juno Awards (Canadian Grammys) which were held in Vancouver, Canada rock star Bryan Adams cut an acoustic version of Whiskeytown’s “16 Days” with fellow Juno award winning recording artists Stompin’ Tom Connors and K.D. Lang. The song is now available as an extremely limited edition flexi-disc that can only be obtained by purchasing the April 1st edition of “Vancouver Monthly” (you’ll need a working turntable to play the disc). The bonus "B-side" is the real surprise as Ryan Adams returns the favor with a stunning solo acoustic alt-country version of the Bryan Adams hit single “Summer of ’69”. Good luck tracking down a copy!
April fool joke or what!!!
