Jay Farrar and Benjamin Gibbard -- One Fast Move or I'm Gone: Music from Kerouac's Big Sur (Atlantic)
The frontmen for Son Volt and Death Cab for Cutie, respectively, adapt words from writer Jack Kerouac's "Big Sur" into song. Farrar did a couple tracks from this project at a show I saw last spring, and wow. This is going to be good, I think.
