Sons of Bill / One Download Away

I recently reviewed Sons of Bill's excellent "One Town Away" so I was thrilled to find out they've been recording most of their shows and are posting free tracks on their Sons of Bill website! The real treat is an entire 8/6/09 concert from The Windjammer in Isle of Palms, SC that is available for download. The set opens with a cover of Steve Earle's "Good Ol' Boy (Getting Tough)" and then the boys rock, twang and honky-tonk through nine more tracks culled from "One Town Away" and their debut disc "A Far Cry From Freedom". The free full concert download is definitely worth checking out if you have or have not already picked up "One Town Away".
